Corrmoran, located in Augsburg, Germany, offers sensors to measure the corrosion rate in real time. The sensors are optimized to analyse high temperature corrosion (HT-OCM) or dew point corrosion (LT-OCM) in large combustion plants. The real-time measured and online transferred corrosion rate creates a time resolved image of the various corrosion activities inside a boiler and such builts up a better understanding of the corrosion causes. With the same measurement you can directly check the efficiency of the counteractions you want to introduce by short time tests.
